St. John’s

St. John’s dominated Georgetown in a 9-0 shutout to clinch the series behind a strong combined pitching effort. Evan Chaffee tossed 6 innings with eight strikeouts, working out of early trouble and stranding multiple runners to keep the game scoreless. Evan Hoeckele was perfect over the final 3 innings, slamming the door without allowing a baserunner.

Offensively, the Red Storm stayed patient and capitalized on mistakes, scoring their first runs off defensive miscues before breaking things open late. Adam Agresti reached base five times with two doubles and three walks, while Cristian Bernardini added three hits to lead a balanced attack. A key seventh inning triple from Will Cowan helped extend the lead as St. John’s pulled away comfortably.

Hofstra

Hofstra was shut out for the first time this season, falling 5-0 to Stony Brook in a tough offensive showing. Joseph Curreri allowed two runs over 3 innings, keeping the Pride within striking distance early despite limited run support. The bullpen provided solidrelief, but defensive errors late allowed the game to slip away.

The Pride managed just three hits on the day, struggling to generate any sustained offense against dominant pitching. Nick Biddle recorded two of those hits, while Gabriel Melara and Danny Corona each contributed doubles. Hofstra’s inability to capitalize on limited opportunities proved costly in the shutout loss.

Stony Brook

Stony Brook earned a 5-0 win over Hofstra, snapping a three-game losing streak with a complete performance. Micah Worley was outstanding, striking out 13 over 7.2 innings while allowing just three hits and one walk. He controlled the game from start to finish, consistently winning counts and overpowering hitters.

The Seawolves manufactured runs early before taking advantage of defensive mistakes late to create separation. Chantz Doughty led the offense with three hits, including two doubles, setting the tone at the top of the lineup. A three-run eighth inning gave Stony Brook breathing room and secured the shutout victory.

LIU

LIU pulled off a dramatic 23-16 win over New Haven in one of the wildest games of the day. After falling behind early, the Sharks exploded for an eight-run third inning to take control, only to see New Haven respond with multiple big innings of its own. The back and forth battle featured constant momentum swings and heavy offensive production from both sides.

Trailing late, LIU rallied in the ninth with a massive comeback, scoring multiple runs on clutch hits and defensive errors. Nate Figueroa delivered key extra base hits, including a triple in the ninth, while Cord Dobrinski homered earlier and added 4 RBIs. In total, the teams combined for 39 runs, showcasing relentless offense and chaotic late game action.

Fordham

Fordham fell 13-1 to VCU, struggling to contain a powerful offensive performance from the visitors. The Rams kept the game close early before surrendering multiple home runs in the middle innings that quickly shifted momentum. A late seven-run ninth inning by VCU put the game completely out of reach.

Despite the loss, Tommy McAndrews stood out with a strong 3-for-4 performance, including a double and the team’s only run scored. Starting pitcher Aidan Dowd delivered 6 innings, allowing four runs while striking out five to keep Fordham competitive early. However, the offense was unable to generate timely hits against strong pitching.

Molloy

Molloy extended its winning streak to 14 with a doubleheader sweep over Mercy, winning 12-5 and 5-2. In Game 1, the Lions broke things open with a seven-run third inning, highlighted by multiple extra base hits and aggressive baserunning. The offense remained consistent throughout, adding insurance runs late to secure the win.

In Game 2, Mike Knapp delivered a dominant complete game, striking out 10 while allowing just one earned run. Charlie Imhof powered the offense with a three-run home run, while Jack Coogan contributed multiple RBIs. Molloy’s combination of strong pitching and timely hitting continues to fuel one of the hottest streaks in the region.

Adelphi

Adelphi split its doubleheader with Southern Connecticut State, winning Game 1 in dominant fashion, 18-2, before dropping Game 2, 9-3. The Panthers exploded offensively in the opener, scoring in multiple innings and putting up a huge nine-run frame late to put the game away. Their aggressive approach at the plate overwhelmed opposing pitching.

Albert Ramos led the way with four RBIs, while Zach DeMilt and Johnny Catuosco each contributed multi-hit performances. On the mound, John Carver struck out eight over 6 strong innings. In Game 2, however, Adelphi’s bullpen struggled, surrendering an eight-run inning that flipped the game and prevented a sweep.

Queens College

Queens split its doubleheader against No. 8 STAC, dropping the opener before bouncing back with a commanding 13-2 win in Game 2. The Knights showed resilience after defensive struggles in Game 1, responding with a complete performance in the nightcap. Early offense and strong pitching helped set the tone.

Vincent Mallon had a standout day, recording a home run and driving in six RBIs across both games. Severino Napolitano Jr. delivered 5.2 innings in Game 2, allowing just one earned run while keeping hitters off balance. Queens’ ability to respond after a tough loss highlighted their offensive depth and consistency.

Farmingdale State

Farmingdale swept Mount Saint Mary in a doubleheader, winning 6-4 and 11-4. In Game 1, the Rams rallied late with a five-run seventh inning, turning a deficit into a comeback victory. Clutch hitting and aggressive baserunning played a key role in the turnaround.

Richie Heyder delivered the biggest hit with a bases clearing double, while also adding a steal of home during the rally. In Game 2, Farmingdale carried momentum into another strong offensive showing, scoring in multiple innings to pull away. Kaolis Delacruz led the way with four RBIs, including a key two-run triple.

Old Westbury

Old Westbury swept Mount Saint Vincent, winning 8-3 and 13-12 in a high scoring doubleheader. In Game 1, consistent early scoring allowed Old Westbury to control the pace and build a steady lead. Strong situational hitting helped them capitalize on scoring opportunities.

USMMA

USMMA swept St. Joseph’s Brooklyn with 11-5 and 16-5 victories, showcasing explosive offense across both games. After falling behind early in Game 1, the Mariners responded with a seven-run inning to take control. Their ability to string together hits and capitalize on opportunities fueled the comeback.

In Game 2, a massive 10-run third inning broke the game wide open. Luke Kruer led Game 1 with four RBIs, while Davin Fulton added a home run and multiple RBIs in the second game. The Mariners’ depth and offensive consistency were on full display in the sweep.

SUNY Maritime

Maritime earned a hard fought doubleheader sweep in extra innings, winning 5-4 and 18-14 in a marathon day. In Game 1, the Privateers rallied late to tie the game before pushing across the winning run in the eighth inning. Timely hitting and clutch pitching sealed the narrow victory.

Game 2 featured constant momentum swings, with both teams trading runs deep into extra innings. Maritime broke through with a six-run 10th inning to finally pull away. Alex Bardi starred with four RBIs, while multiple players recorded multi hit games in a complete team effort.
