Hofstra:
The Hofstra Pride were defeated in the opening game of a three-game road series against the Elon Phoenix 17-6. The two teams combined for 23 runs, however, Hofstra’s pitching once again let them down, as they failed to keep the Phoenix off the scoresheet.

Will Kennedy, Michael Brown, and Steve Harrington each one RBI apiece. Michael O’Hanlon started the game for the Pride and struggled in what was his second loss of the season.
