GameChanger launched Athlete Profiles in the Fall of 2022. This first iteration of Athlete Profiles housed video highlights captured on GameCharger for baseball and softball players. The profiles proved to be very popular and an easy way to share the best on-field moments with coaches and recruiters.
Now, Athlete Profiles are getting a significant upgrade with the addition of Career Stats.
Career Stats is the most comprehensive view of a youth baseball or softball player’s playing history from Little League to High School. The feature automatically tallies over 150 metrics, ranging from a hitter’s all-time batting average to a pitcher’s WHIP.
This new feature was on display at the 2023 MLB Draft, where top prospects like Long Island’s very own Josh Knoth (33rd overall to the Milwaukee Brewers) had an Athlete Profile on GameChanger.
Most of Knoth’s amateur career is captured on his profile, with stats going all the way back to his days playing for the Patchogue-Medford Raiders 10U team through his time with the East Coast Lumberjacks program and his dominant career at Patchogue-Medford High School.
Over 6,000 of pitches thrown by the righty are captured on GameChanger—good for more than 700 strikeouts.
Walker Jenkins (5th overall to the Minnesota Twins) and George Lombard Jr. (26th overall to the New York Yankees) are among other top picks who had Athlete Profiles on GameChanger.
It’s never been easier to capture video and stats in one place, create an Athlete Profile and share it with coaches for recruiting. You can even post the profile on social media for family, friends and the world to see.
GameChanger is on a mission to democratize the youth sports space and provide the same opportunity to every athlete, regardless of level, through technology. The GameChanger Athlete Profile, now with Career Stats, is an easily accessible and cost-effective way for athletes at all levels to showcase their talent and get noticed.
