Tri-State Arsenal NY’s bats were firing on all cylinders today in their 13-1 win over the LI Jr Ducks in a 15u National Boys of Summer matchup at PAL Stadium. Arsenal never slowed down as they scored multiple runs in three innings.
It started in the top of the first when Arsenal loaded the bases with one out on 3 straight walks. Arsenal was able to scratch 2 across on 2 wild pitches. The Ducks limited the damage by striking out back-to-back hitters only giving Arsenal the lead 2-0 heading to the bottom half of the inning. The Arsenal trotted out the winning pitcher Michael Tramaglini who kept Arsenal’s momentum going getting 3 quick outs preserving the lead and sending the game to the 2nd inning.
In the top of the 2nd, Arsenal was threatening after a walk and single but would end up stranding them. In the bottom of the inning, the Ducks got something going after two singles and with two outs were able to get on the board with a third single bringing in one cutting the lead to 2-1 going into the top of the 3rd.
The 3rd was when Arsenal really put their foot on the gas after getting the first 4 batters on and 7 of the first 9. Jake Lamura and Nicholas Failla both roped singles to get the inning going. These baserunners helped score 6 for Arsenal giving them an 8-1 lead heading to the bottom of the 3rd. Tramaglini looked comfortable with the lead and kept everything going throwing another shutout inning striking out 2 and keeping the game 8-1 with Arsenal coming up again in the 4th.

The 4th was similar to the 3rd for Arsenal as they kept pouring it on getting the first 2 runners on. After that Arsenal took care of business scoring 5 more after a double from Ethan Honan, 2 singles from Tramaglini and Rowan Golub, 3 walks, and a hit by pitch giving them a 13-1 lead looking to close out the game in the bottom of the 4th.
The bottom of the 4th was a similar fashion as Tramglini went out there in the 4th getting the first out before handing the ball away allowing Arsenal to close the door and secure the 13-1 victory in their run rule win over the Jr Ducks.
