Hofstra 7, Towson 4

The bats were quiet until the fourth inning when Towson struck first with a sacrifice fly.  Then in the bottom half of the frame, the Pride put up a three spot thanks to an RBI double by catcher Kevin Bruggeman and a two-run shot by second baseman Santino Rosso.  Townson reclaimed their lead in the fifth with an RBI double by right fielder Jeremy Wagner and a two-run home run by second baseman Jordan Peyton.  However, Hofstra was able to tally four consecutive runs to push them over the top.  This stretch began in the fifth with an RBI single by Dylan Palmer and was followed up with a sacrifice fly.  In the sixth, the Pride scored again, via another sacrifice fly and scored their seventh run in the seventh inning off a single by Rosso, which marked his third run batted in of the day.  Mark Faello threw 3.1 shutout innings to tally his first save of the season.  Hofstra looks to keep the good times rolling and complete the series sweep Sunday at 12:00 PM EST.

Fordham 4, George Washington 9
