Division remained dominant, beating Hewlett, 16-1, in five innings. Their bats got started early and did not let up throughout the whole game.
The Blue Dragons managed to score in every inning of their fifth inning run-fest, putting up one in the first, three in the second, five in the third, five in the fourth, and two in the fifth.

Elon-commit Joe Yovino had a big day at the plate; he got them on the board in the first inning by doubling in their leadoff hitter Matt Bolton, who is committed to play at Binghamton. Yovino had three RBIs on the day. Senior James Sill also had three runs batted in. Sill went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and a walk; he was named the Axcess Baseball Player of the Game powered by GameChanger. Bolton has an RBI, as well as Ryan Klass, Chris Clune, KK Delacruz, and Caiden Siegel. Their bats were red hot and stayed red hot through out the game, no matter who was at the plate.

Christian Varela was simply brilliant on the mound for Division. He went four terrific innings, striking out one, and allowing just one run and just two hits, which all came in the second inning. Varela went right at the batters. He was challenging for them to put the ball in play because he trusted his solid defense behind him, only making one error.
Hewlett scored in the second inning on an RBI single by Lucas Williams to score Abramovich. Hewlett did not give up as they continued to put the ball in play, just hitting it right at the Division fielders.
Division will look to stay dominant as they continue their season with one thing on their minds, winning their first Nassau County Championship since 2015.
