The Body Armor Titans took on the East Coast Lumberjacks in the 16U championship of the Northeast Elite tournament.
The Titans would get on the board first with 4 walks in the bottom of the first giving them a 1-0 lead. Alex Bono would hit an RBI single making it 2-0. Another run would score on a wild pitch giving the Titans a 3-0 lead at the end of the first inning.
They would add to their lead in the second with back-to-back walks to lead off the inning followed by an Alex Bono 2-run single making it 5-0. A fielder’s choice off the bat of Cam Tindley made it 6-0 at the end of the 2nd.
The Titans would put the game away in the bottom of the 4th. A sac fly from Ethan Ramirez makes it 7-0 and a wild pitch would give them an 8-0 lead. They would add another run to make it 9-0 on a pick off attempt that hit the runner in the helmet and got away from the first baseman.
The Body Armor Titans would win the championship in 4 innings due to run rule.
