The LI Sharks would take on the LI Thunder in the 13u Town Of Brookhaven Fall Classic on a windy Sunday afternoon.
The game started with 3 scoreless innings as both Ben Walsh and Ethan Arita would make quick work of the opposing teams lineup.
The LI Sharks could smell blood in the water as they were able to load the basses in the top of the fourth on a hit by pitch and 2 consecutive walks. With 1 out, pitcher Ben Walsh would step up to the plate and help himself out with an RBI single giving the Sharks a 1-0 lead. They would go on the add 3 more runs in the inning by being aggressive on wild pitches.
The Sharks closing in on the championship would tac on another run by playing small ball and getting a run across with a sac bunt by Brennan Morrison scoring the runner all the way from second base giving the sharks a 5-0 lead.
Once again just like in the semifinals, the Sharks starting pitcher would come out and try for the complete game.

The Thunder would get aggressive on the basses as Dan Spuer would take second and third on consecutive pitches and later score on a sac fly by Ryan Merolis.
Despite letting up the 2 runs Ben Walsh would stay in the game and get a strikeout to win the championship for the LI Sharks 5-2.
