Game 1
The 15u LIB-Prime started the LI Boys of Summer Fall season by facing off against Yeti Baseball. They started the game off hot with good discipline at the plate with a total of 5 hits and 2 walks in the inning making the score 5-0 before their pitcher even took the mound. Ben Cohen, Jacob Kouba, and Ryan Tullo all had RBI hits during the inning.
In the top of the fourth inning, LIB-Prime’s bats were at it again with back-to-back 2-run doubles from Ryan Buckhalt and Jacob Kouba to extend their lead to 9-0.
Sawyer Bogaty was basically untouchable for LIB-Prime until the fourth inning when Yeti was able to get bases loaded via 2 walks and a hit-by-pitch. With 2 outs and bases loaded Maddix Dasilva ripped a 2-run double over the left fielder’s head to cut the deficit to 9-2.
LIB-Prime would answer right back. In the top of the fifth, back-to-back singles and a walk set up Taylor Nitsch for an RBI single that would end up winning the game for LIB-Prime due to the run rule.

Game 2
In game 2 neither team could get anything going in the first inning, but in the bottom of the second, LIB-Prime’s bats stayed hot despite the downtime between games. Starting pitcher Jacob Kouba helped himself out by starting the inning off with a single and would later come around to score on a Ryan Tullo hit-by-pitch putting the LIB-Prime up 1-0. Bases loaded walk by Mateo Mordes and a sac fly by Sawyer Bogaty extended the lead to 3-0 at the end of the 2 innings.
LIB-Prime would strike again during the bottom of the third thanks to some good fundamental baseball of moving the runner into scoring position for Aidan McCarthy who ripped an RBI double down the 3rd baseline.
Yeti would make a pitching change before the start of the bottom of the fourth but that did not change the approach of the LIB-Prime batters as they would add another run to their lead with an RBI single by Ryan Tullo.
LIB-Prime would win game 2 in 5 ½ innings due to the time limit.
