Game 1:
Yeti Baseball did not want to play any games during this one. They had a monster second inning where they scored 10 runs and it always seemed like the next man up kept on delivering.
In the bottom of the second, Yeti had 3 of the first 4 batters in the inning walk to load the bases for Angelo Servellon who kept the trend going as he worked a walk to give Yeti a lead that they would never surrender.
The next batter, Jack Visnius, hit an infield single to the shortstop to give Yeti a 2-0 lead, the bases remained loaded with only one out for Bobby Eck who also drew a walk making it 3-0 Yeti
The lineup card flipped over as Andrew Carbonara (who went 3-4 in Game 1) hit a two run single into right center, giving Yeti a commanding 5-0 lead. But it doesn’t quite end here.
Nick Fiorentino hit a ground ball that stayed in the infield, but Bobby Eck beat the throw to the plate, scoring Yeti’s 6th run of the inning.
During the next at bat, Carbonara scored on a pass ball to push the lead to 7-0. After a walk to Carson McCaffrey, Yeti sent Brady Reyling up to the plate and he hit a line drive into center field for an RBI single. The score now 8-0
The last 2 runs of the inning scored on a Dylan Ruland blooper that dropped in front of a sliding right fielder, allowing for the runners to score and make it 10-0.
The Red Devils did get three runs back as Jayden Brown hit two RBI doubles in this game. One in the top of the third and one in the top of the sixth. Xavier Guardado laced a double into the left center gap that scored Brown in the sixth inning to make it 10-3.
In the bottom of the sixth, Yeti got one more run as a throwing error by the catcher on a dropped third strike allowed one more run to score for Yeti.
Pitching wise for Yeti, Carson McCaffrey pitched a great game, going 6 innings and striking out 8 batters en route to victory.
For the Red Devils, Jayden Brown held Yeti to only one unearned run in his 4.2 innings of relief, Striking out 5 batters in the process.

Game two was a completely different story as this one became a nail biter and the tying run was on second base in the bottom of the last inning with one out.
The Red Devils got out to a fast 2-0 lead, in the middle of this start was none other than Jayden Brown. Following a leadoff single and a stolen base from Juandy Bonilla, Brown smacked an RBI that got past the third baseman, scoring Bonilla from second base.
A few batters later, Brown and Xavier Guardado, who was running for the pitcher, pulled off a first and third double steal to perfection, allowing Brown to score from third base and give the Red Devils an early 2-0 lead.
However, that lead was very short lived as Angelo Servellon once again came to the plate with bases loaded with runners from Yeti Baseball. He took advantage of the opportunity and he hit a 2 run double to left field, tying the game at 2.
In the top of the third, Nick Fiorentino stepped up to the plate with a runner on second and a chance to give Yeti the lead. He hit a ball deep to center and the ball landed over the center fielder’s head. The ball bounced all the way to the wall, giving Fiorentino an Inside the Park Home Run and Yeti Baseball a 4-2 lead.
The inning continued as Brady Reyling scored a few batters later via a pass ball to make the score 5-2 Yeti.
In the bottom of the third inning, Xavier Guardado got a run back for the Red Devils as he beat out a chopper to third base with 2 outs and a man on third, making it a 5-3 affair.
Andrew Carbonara came through for Yeti again as he started a little fourth inning rally with an Rbi single to right field to make it 6-3 Yeti. A few batters later, Connor Catania walked with the bases loaded to push the score to 7-3 Yeti.
In the top of the fifth (and last) inning, Bobby Eck gave Yeti an insurance run and a five run cushion with an Rbi single to right field.
The Red Devils did not have any quit in them, they had the bases loaded with one out and their hottest hitter, Jayden Brown, stepped up and delivered a huge 2 run double down the third base line, cutting Yeti’s lead to 3.
The next batter, Xavier Guardado hit another RBI infield single, making it an 8-6 affair. Guardado stole second base on the next pitch thrown, putting the tying run into scoring position with one out.
Unfortunately for the Red Devils, Brady Reyling didn’t back down from the challenge that was in front of him. He struck out the last 2 batters to get the save and help Yeti Baseball secure a two game sweep over the Red Devils.
