Last year, we hosted our first tournament and it was called the Axcess Invitational. It took place in late July at Moriches Complex and featured roughly 28 teams with the age groups ranging from 14-18u.
I believe the event was a success, and decided to run it back for year 2.
The response has been outstanding as we are nearly at capacity.
What can teams expect?
Well, for one it’s going to be good baseball. I think the teams involved are all deserving and have a chance to win. I’m also going to make sure that myself and my staff will be going around, taking videos, getting radar readings on the pitchers and making sure the games are getting coverage on our social media platforms. Additionally, if the NCAA allows it, we will have the college coaches in attendance.
We are open to bringing on a sponsor to have the naming rights for the event as well – so if you are a company that would like to get involved please email vinny@axcessbaseball.com. If you’d like to get involved in a lesser capacity such as having your logo on the program or set up a table, that is available as well.
