It’s rare to get a nice sunny and warm day in November, but when it happens, it’s something to savor. Here at MacArthur Highschool, the 12u LI Titans faced off against the South Shore Elite in a league matchup. This age group will continue play until next weekend before finishing up their fall season._x000D_

Joe Farina got the start for the Elite. Joe is built strong and throws the ball with great velocity at such a young age. Titans hitters struggled to even catch up to fastball and he didn’t even allow a single hit until the fourth inning. _x000D_

Southpaw Logan Vogel was the starter for the Titans. Logan came out with a nice fastball and a good looking curveball. The only thing that haunted Logan was his walks. Both teams gave up above the average of walks in this one. _x000D_

In the bottom of the first, he Elite struck first. Alex Aramini ripped an RBI single getting the scoring started. Small ball came into play in the second inning, when the Elite pulled off a successful sacrifice bunt putting another run on the board._x000D_

Flash forward to the third, the Elite would put together 4 runs, all on walks. This game ended early due to a time limit in the fourth. The final score was 6-2 as the Titans added 2 runs in the last inning but obviously not enough. The 12u South Shore defeat the LI Titans 6-2 in 4 innings!
