He was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2019 MLB Draft out of Fordham University after leading the Rams to the Atlantic-10 Championship. Prior to that, he enjoyed a standout career at Oceanside HS in which he won the Diamond Award for top player in Nassau County. He discussed why his favorite player in Tom Seaver, what it was like picking against Noah Syndergaard and pitching to No. 1 overall pick Adley Rutschman.
