Since its inception in 2007, Showball Baseball has proven to be one of the nation’s premier showcase events for high school baseball players wishing to play at the next level.
While some events may be more catered to the most prolific baseball programs in the country, Showball has found a niche with the high-academic schools.
They struck gold this week in Medford as they are in the midst of a four-day showcase that has featured hundreds of players and over 100 colleges. Today was another jam-packed event as 50 colleges were represented and over 200 (!) players in attendance. The coaches were all head coaches, meaning that they are the ones in charge of final say in terms of the recruiting process. Additionally, all eight Ivy League head coaches were in attendance.
