May 30: Travis Honeyman and Bobby Conlon
On this episode, we are recording from East End Baseball Academy in Medford, NY with Massapequa RHP Bobby Conlon and SS Travis Honeyman. They will be playing Port Washington beginning tomorrow in the Nassau County AA Finals. They are the reigning State Champs. We discussed a variety of topics, including their outstanding regular season, the feeling of being "immortal" following the New York State Championship, their rivalries with Farmingdale and Oceanside, growing up in the age of the internet, Travis discussed his experience at the Power Showcase, how he got recruited by Boston College and what it's like having a brother in the minor leagues. Bobby discusses being a three-sport athlete (baseball, golf, football) and what's more difficult to get out of a slump.
