On this episode, we are joined by Adelphi Head Coach Dom Scala. The 16th year Head Coach discusses their incredible 2019 season in which they are currently 29-5, ranked No. 11 in the nation. We discuss how they've overcome several key injuries and the flu bug earlier in the season to run away with the NE-10 Southwest Division. He discusses ace Ed Baram's season, the importance of players like Tom Ambrosino, Thomas Colombo, Brett Malm, Lawrence Cicileo, Brandon Morse and Lucas Terwilliger as well as role players like Kyle Olson, Jack Ryan and others. He also discusses the similarities between this team and 2011--in which they won the Northeast-10 Conference. He tells us about batting .420 at St. John's University, getting drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 1976 and his time with the 1978 Yankees.
