You may have noticed that the option to create a profile page is no longer available on the website. We made this change as a way of enhancing the overall experience of the website. While the feature certainly presented a unique tool to players across the island. it also came at the expense of the overall speed and efficiency of the average loading time of the pages. With our focus being on news, we found this as a necessary sacrifice to make.
We will continue to emphasize the experience to our primary audience, and our priority remains game recaps, feature stories, rankings and news.
Additionally, you may have notice other accounts popping up on Twitter such as Axcess Football, Axcess Soccer, Axcess Hockey and Axcess Sports. This is the first step in becoming an all-encompassing Long Island sports website. Eventually, we will be transitioning to having all the sports under AxcessSports.net, which you can check out now but we will continue to separate the two sites for the time being.
We will continue to offer the Exclusive Axcess to our audience which will remain unchanged. We apologize to those who enjoyed using the profile feature functionality, but we feel it will improve the overall experience of the site.
