We are pleased to announce that we have come to terms with Baseball Heaven on a one-year extension of our partnership through the 2018 season. Under this agreement, Axcess Baseball will have the rights to cover league games, showcases and tournaments that occur at their facility.
This season, we have already covered several league games, the Elite College Recruiting Showcase, Northeast Elite, National Youth Baseball Championship, Antonia Agostinelli Memorial and Strength Heals tournaments. Next year’s season will feature much more of that.
Baseball Heaven is a 27-acre baseball complex in Yaphank, NY owned by Steel Sports. The complex has eight (four small, four large) artificial turf fields complete with bullpens and dugouts.
As the only publication that exclusively covers amateur baseball on Long Island, we are pleased that the management at Baseball Heaven has been so accommodating to a media company like us. This will allow us to continue to improve our coverage of the Long Island baseball scene and provide a conduit from the field to the audience.
