Over the past 13 years, Infiniti Sports Performance has carved out a reputation for training many of the top baseball players on Long Island. In fact, of the previous 13 Carl Yastrzemski Award winners, 11 of them have regularly trained at Infiniti. The same can be said about five winners of the Paul Gibson Award during that same span. Additionally, five of their athletes were selected in the 2017 MLB Draft and eight were selected in the 2016 MLB Draft.
They have recently opened the doors of a second location; in the current home of Prospect Performance in Farmingdale and a third in the current home of Team B.E.A.S.T. facility in Commack. The merge now turns the Prospect Factory building into somewhat of a “baseball factory”, bringing together Joe Francisco’s Hitting School and Bobby DeMichael’s Prospect Performance Pitching (P3) Program. The addition of both locations now gives them a presence in the western area of Suffolk County to further solidify their infiltration in the Long Island baseball community.

Their new space features 3,600 sq feet of field turf as well as 2,900 sq feet of strength and performance training area, 1,000 sq feet of adult fitness area and 600 sq feet of yoga/pilates/exercise class studio.
“We like to set the standard in athlete training,” said Director of Training, Russell Taveras. “But there is nothing standard about what we do,” he added. They are widely commended for their skill-specific training based upon the athlete’s sport and age
The facility is newly-renovated and features state-of-the-art equipment such as a Keiser Functional Trainer and a Tred Sled designed for football players.
“Over the past two years or so, we had clearly outgrown our space in Bellport and weren’t able to serve our athletes the way we would have liked in terms of scheduling,” said Executive Director Ray Babinsky. “We simply had spatial challenges. In no way did we want to alienate our client base in this part of Long Island after all these years. At the same time, so many of our western Suffolk and Nassau clients had been asking us to open a location in central Long Island. We found several locations and had a couple of invites from other sports facilities, but we wanted to wait for something special. It just so happened that two great opportunities were presented to us almost simultaneously. By moving into the adjacent space to Prospect Factory as well as B.E.A.S.T. in Commack, not only did we find incredibly convenient locations for athletes, but also the opportunity to develop integrated programs with two progressive, mindful sports entities in Prospect Factor ad B.E.A.S.T. we have assembled an incredible team of trainers and we are all very excited about the future.”
