What’s On Tap for This Week

Almost all of the local teams have began to play with the exception of Farmingdale, St. Joseph’s, Nassau CC, Suffolk CC and Maritime. Everyone except Nassau will kick off this week and then we’ll really be in the swing of things.

Here’s a breakdown of what the schedule looks like this week:

Div-I:

St. John’s will play at North Carolina on Wednesday at 3pm. They will then play in the LeClair Classic in Greenville, N.C. this weekend. They’ll open up against Appalachian State on Friday at 12pm, East Carolina University on Saturday at 4pm and Western Carolina on Sunday at 11am.

Fordham will be in Wilson, N.C. all weekend playing a four-game set against Canisius beginning on Friday at 3pm, a double header on Saturday at noon and on Sunday at 10:30am.

Stony Brook will be at the University of Central Florida this weekend for a three-game set beginning on Friday at 6:30 pm. They will continue on Saturday at 6:30pm and Sunday at 1pm.

Hofstra will be in Charleston, S.C. all weekend for a three-game series. They will play a double header on Saturday at 1 and a single-game on Sunday at 2pm.

NYIT will have the week off due to a scheduling conflict with the University of Maine.

Div-II:

Adelphi will open up tomorrow at home against St. Thomas Aquinas at 3pm. They have a very busy weekend beginning with a double header on Friday against Franklin Pierce at 12pm. They will also host New Haven in a double header on Saturday at noon. They will host Bloomfield in a single-game on Sunday.

LIU Post will host Bloomfield in a double header on Saturday beginning at 12pm.

Molloy will play a three-game series against Merrimack beginning with a double header on Saturday at 12pm and wrapping it up on Sunday with a single-game at 12pm.

Queens will host Goldey-Beacon in a four-game series this weekend. They will play double headers on Saturday and Sunday at 12pm.

Div-III:

Farmingdale State will open up their season at home on Saturday with a double header against Plattsburgh State at 12pm. They will finish up their series on Sunday with a game at 12pm.

St. Joseph’s will open up their season at home on Saturday against Ithaca at 11am. They will face them again on Sunday at 10am and Skidmore at 2pm.

Old Westbury will face Western New England in a double header on Saturday at Baseball Heaven beginning at 1pm. They will face them in a single-game on Sunday at 10am.

Maritime will begin on March 8

Junior College:

Suffolk will open up their season on Thursday in South Carolina at the Ripken Experience. They will face Western Technical College at 12pm and Olney Central College at 3pm. On Thursday, they will face the College of DuPage at 12pm and Garrett College at 3pm. They’ll wrap up the trip with a single-game at 10am against Western Technical College.

Nassau will open up next week
