Today is a crazy busy day for Long Island teams with 10 of the 12 local teams in action.
Yesterday was not a very good day for the local teams. Only St. Joseph’s was victorious, and that was an impressive 8-5 win over the Washington Nationals’ Dominican Summer League team.
Here’s the game times:
Division-I:
Stony Brook will take on UMBC in a DH beginning at 12.
Hofstra will take on Ohio State beginning at 3pm. They were defeated 12-1 yesterday.
NYIT will take on UMass in a DH beginning at 12.
Division-II:
Molloy will look to stay hot today as they host Stonehill in a DH beginning at 1pm.
Dowling will face Pace at 12:30pm and Franklin Pierce at 4:30pm. They lost to Pierce 8-2 yesterday.
Adelphi will wrap up their Florida trip with a 12pm game against Southern Connecticut. They blew a ninth inning lead yesterday against Lynn.
Division-III:
Farmingdale will play a DH against Stockton beginning at 9:30am (scores not available until after the game). They lost to Keene St 8-2 yesterday.
St. Joseph’s will face the Pittsburgh Pirates Dominican Summer League team.
Junior College:
Suffolk will travel to Bethany College to play a DH beginning at 1pm.
Nassau will travel to Rowan to play a DH beginning at 12.
