Old Westbury padded their resume a little more with another easy win–this time an 11-3 rout of John Jay to improve to 19-8.

Nick Schoen started and went six innings–he allowed one ER and struck out five batters for the win.

The game was close in the fifth inning when Nick Yip hit his fifth home run of the season to open up a 3-1 lead. Christian Faust opened the game up with a two-run double in the seventh inning.

Faust finished with three hits and two RBI. Michael Cardino had two hits and drove in two. Dean Sheridan also compiled two hits and drove in a run.

In total, the Panthers smacked 15 hits.

Christopher Vitale threw the final three innings, allowing one ER in relief of Schoen.

The Panthers will host Purchase on Saturday in a DH. They will look to improve their 8-4 conference record.
