St. Joseph’s Improves to 16-12 After Winning Three of Four

It was another good weekend for St. Joseph’s, who swept Mount St. Vincent’s on Sunday and split with Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday to improve to 16-12.
On Saturday, in their 7-2 victory–they committed three errors but out-hit the opposition 13-4. Joe Calabrese and Joe Lynn both had three hits and drove in a run. Brendan Sullivan and Anthony Bonilla both had two hits.

Glenn Patriss threw the seven-inning CG, allowing four hits, 0 ER while striking out three. 

On Sunday, they won 11-0 in the first game of the DH. Josh Outsen threw a complete game, allowing only two hits, walking two while striking out five.

The Golden Eagles scored six in the second inning and that was all they needed. 

Brendan Sullivan led the way with three hits and four RBI. His double broke the game open in the second inning. Anthony Andreani also had three hits in the game. 

In the second game of the DH, they won 5-1. Nick Girardi started and went four innings, allowing one ER and striking out six for his first win of the season. Michael Catanzaro threw three shutout innings for his second save of the season.

Joe Lynn drove in two runs, while Girardi and Calabrese each drove in two. 

They luck out and face Yeshiva this weekend for a DH and face LIU-Brooklyn on Sunday.
