Molloy opened up their home schedule with a 3-1 victory over LeMoyne in a seven-inning game. They only compiled five hits on offense, but Anthony Alberghina drove in two runs with an RBI single and a sac fly that proved to be the difference.

Four pitchers combined to hold LeMoyne to one run on six hits. Bobby Kelly started and threw two shutout innings. He gave way to Sean Gordon, who followed with two scoreless innings of his own–allowing no hits. Peter Vath continued the trend with another two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out one. Alex Brosnan closed the door with a clean seventh inning, as he sidestepped trouble after allowing the go-ahead run to reach base.

The next game was a 2-1 victory in favor of LeMoyne.

They are now 2-3 on the season.

The Lions will travel to Lantana, Fla next for a six-game series beginning on Friday against Southern Connecticut State.
