Stony Brook defeated Sacred Heart 7-1 to improve to 13-10 on the season. The offensive came alive, banging 12 hits with Kevin Krause and Kevin Courtney each accounting for two. The Sea Wolves got out to an early 4-0 lead and never looked back.

Josh Barry recorded the victory with two innings of relief for his first win of the season. They have now won 13 of 17 and will return to action Saturday vs. Bryant.

Hofstra defeated NYIT 3-2 on a walk-off home run by Robbie Cafiero, who previously played for the Bears. Ryan Donovan also had two hits and scored a run.

The Pride marched out nine pitchers to the mound, with the final hurler, Chris Harkey, recording the victory with two spotless innings.

Hofstra improves to 9-9 on the season and will return to action this weekend against James Madison University.

Molloy lost 4-3 to Caldwell. The Lions blew a 3-0 lead, by allowing four runs in the sixth inning. Peter Vath suffered the loss.

Carlos Guzman had two hits an an RBI for the Lions, who drop to 8-11 and will return to action Friday against CW Post.

CW Post lost 3-2 in 12 innings to Mercy. Joey Arena fired 10 innings of one-run, one-hit ball for the Pioneers, but did not receive enough run support. Dan Jagiello suffered the loss in the 12th inning.

The Pioneers will have a crucial matchup this weekend against Molloy.

Dowling completed a three-game sweep of Bridgeport with a 3-2 win. Pitcher of the Month Tyler Badamo threw his third complete game of the season, he only allowed four hits, walked none, allowed zero earned runs while fanning 11. It was truly a dominating effort.

JC Brandmeier went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and triple, the latter proved to be the deciding run.

They will take on Dominican College on Saturday in a DH.

Old Westbury lost 11-6 to Manhattanville to drop to 6-13. The Panthers led 4-2 but allowed it to slip away. Frank DiMaria suffered his third loss of the season.

Jake Coners, Joey Walsh and John Pagan all compiled two hits for the Panthers who will be back today against Drew.
