St. Joseph’s Drop Two

St. Joseph’s trip to Florida has not been kind so far. They have lost their first four games, including two yesterday to Mass-Boston.

In the first game, they lost 5-3. They had battled back from a 4-0 deficit to cut the lead to one but were unable to close the deal.

Steven Szobesky took the loss, he drops to 0-2 on the young season. He allowed four runs in five innings of work.

Brian Godoy recorded two hits for the Golden Eagles.

In the second game, they lost 9-7. They squandered a 4-0 lead that they built in the top of the first inning. They fell 7-3 but cut it down to one in the fifth inning. Once again, they were not able to find the big hit.

Jake Brown suffered the defeat, he allowed two earned runs in 1.2 innings of work.

Mike Aloisio recorded two hits, two runs and two RBI. They will return to action today against McDaniel.
