The NYIT Bears had a rough weekend, getting swept by Mount Saint Mary’s. The scores were 18-7, 11-8, 13-4 and 7-0. They drop to 0-11 on the season.
In the second game, they fought back hard from a 4-1 deficit and took a 6-4 lead in the top of the fourth. The bullpen was unable to hold the fort and allowed seven runs in the finals three innings. Joe Daru drove in three runs in the loss.
They will travel to Penn St. tomorrow.
