Hofstra University split a double header with Furman on Saturday in South Carolina. The Pride won the first game, 4-2, thanks to eight strong innings from Nick Kozlowski and a two-run double from Matt Ford. Kozlowski gave up six hits and two runs while striking out four. Brett Schreiber came on for the save.
Furman won the second game, 5-4, in the 10 innings on a walk-off single by Heath Burton. Brett Schreiber took the loss. Dalton Rouleau smacked three hits in the loss.
The Pride will take on Fordham on Wednesday.
