March 13 Recap

Adelphi lost 5-2 to AIC in Boca Raton, FL. The Panthers have now lost six straight since their season opening victory. Senior Stephen Bove suffered the loss despite throwing six innings, yielding two runs.

Cliff Brantley stayed hot for the Panthers, smashing three hits and home run. He has been quite a find for the Panthers.

The Panthers will look to avoid an 0-for-Florida today against AIC.

Dowling beat Felician 7-6 on a walk-off hit by Rob Veltre. It was a terrific character win for the Golden Lions. They came back from a 5-0 deficit, slowly chipping away until the 7th inning. After they gave up a one-run lead in the 9th on a wild pitch, they were able to atone for the mistake and win the ballgame, moving to 8-5. Veltre had two hits and two RBI in the game.

They will take on Pace tonight at 6 pm.
