Farmingdale Wins Both over Plattsburgh

The Farmingdale Rams are off to a solid 4-1 start, in large part to their sweep of Plattsburgh State yesterday by the scores of 12-3 and 2-0.

In Game One, the game was 4-3 heading into the sixth inning when the Rams broke it open with eight runs. Anthony Alvino drove in three runs with Mike Marino adding two RBI. Mike Dolce went five strong innings and Matt Fick tossed the final two innings.

The second game was a quick 2-0 game. The only runs came across on Tom Rydzewski’s two-run triple in the bottom of the fifth which gave Matt Seelinger the victory. He tossed five no-hit innings, allowing only two walks and throwing 63 pitches. Alex Pangourelias tossed the final two innings for the save.
