Seawolves Stomp On Iona

The Stony Brook Seawolves defeated Iona on Tuesday by the score of 12-3. Jack Parenty continued his torrent hitting with a 4-5 performance with an RBI and Brett Tenuto was 3-3 with two RBI.

Chad Lee was awarded his first win of the season, as he tossed 4.1 scoreless innings. He was relieved by three Stony Brook pitchers who combined to toss the next 4.2 innings while allowing two earned runs.

The score was 5-3 entering the ninth inning when the Seawolves broke the game open with a seven-run inning. The Seawolves amassed 14-hits and five stolen bases on the day.

Josh Barry was awarded his first save of the season.
